Why Stage?

We want to take a minute to tell you about how the premier staged homes ASP® Staging Team works so you can understand what we do as Staging Professionals in helping you get top dollar for your home in the shortest amount of time possible. We work in steps to provide you, our Client, with the best service possible.

The first thing that we want to do is meet you, view your property, and do a walk-through of your home or property to determine the type of Staging Service you desire: a Full Staging Service where our ASP® Team actually does the Staging, or a Staging Consultation Service, if you decide to do the Staging yourself. We will take detailed notes and, with your permission, digital photos of your home.

pany and services.

Should you decide to have our ASP® Team do the Staging for you, we will prepare a Staging Service Bid Proposal and Homeowner Agreement. There is no fee for this estimate. Once the bid is accepted, we will then arrange a time to Stage your property to prepare it for sale. According to recent statistics provided by HomeGain.com, Staged homes sell faster and/or for more money. With our expertise and effort we will showcase your property’s best features.

In the event you choose to do the Staging yourself, our ASP® Team will write a Consultation Agreement and Exclusive Detailed Report for you. This is a detailed written report based on your current property’s appearance and condition. It contains a list of our professional recommendations for you to prepare your property for market. These recommendations will be reviewed in detail at our next appointment.

Once the Staging criteria are completed your property will be ready to market and be “SOLD” for top dollar.

Myth 1: Staging is Decorating…
Fact: Staging is NOT Decorating or Design! Decorating or Design is personalizing and Staging is De-personalizing and preparing a house for the un-known Buyer. That is why it’s KEY that you hire someone with training specifically on how to prepare a house for sale.

The Accredited Staging Professional® (ASP®) is the ONLY nationally recognized professional designation for Home Staging. Make sure to hire someone with this professional designation when selecting a qualified Home Stager.

Myth 2: Staging Costs Too Much…
Fact: Staging is an INVESTMENT in getting a house sold and the investment in Staging is always less than a price reduction. An ASP® Stager has been trained to work with a Seller’s budget and time frame to properly Stage a house. We like to ask our clients, “Can you afford NOT to Stage?” When compared with the other costs associated with the sale or purchase of a home, Staging is very reasonable. In most markets, a Staging report detailing what needs to be done to Stage the house for sale is less than the appraisal or Home Inspection reports.

Myth 3:All I Need Are Lights, Flowers & Music…
Fact: Lights, Flowers and Music are great for Showing a house, but that is not Staging. Staging requires an objective and professional assessment of a house’s strengths and challenge areas, and solutions to help Buyers fall in love with what they see. This requires more than just flowers and music to achieve—it requires an Action Plan! Your ASP® Stager can help you and your clients with a Success Plan for getting their house STAGED and SOLD!

For sale, but Sellers cannot truly be objective in a house they have been living in and need a 3rd party independent opinion to get it properly Staged. ASP®s have the experience and ideas to help Sellers get their houses or properties ready, and we honor our clients and work closely with Realtors to help get a house sold.

An Accredited Staging Professional (ASP®) is a dedicated professional who has studied and learned the proven and powerful techniques of Staging homes.

Staged Homes traditionally present themselves better than the competition by being clean, clutter-free and ready to show to prospective buyers.
